Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts athlete who is a part of UFC. UFC for the Flyweight Division, is a Kyrgyzstani. Valentina Shevchenko, a former UFC Flyweight titleholder, and UFC friend of hers is her younger sister. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as a Muay Thai boxer. She made her debut in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her impressive striking ability at the end of the fight with knees placed on her body. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended after this win.
